Content Management - Do we need one?  If so, which one?

We create dynamic, useful websites for our customers and give them the ability to maintain them with little or no technical knowledge. Not all of our customers have powerful or costly content management systems, in fact, a few don't have a CMS at all.

Business websites which have regular updates (which *should* be all business websites, but some are simple static sites) should be powered by an easy-to-use content management system. A content management system allows for non-technical personnel to update content on the website. Many CMS allow users to create blogs, online communities, improve search engine rankings, manage e-commerce and manage online marketing activities.

Platform Agnostic

We believe it's important for our customers to trust our recommendations. Vireo is about doing what works for our customers and as such our company does not offer a Content Management Package. We work with and recommend a few CMS products and will be happy to go over the pros and cons of each but we will not "push" a particular CMS onto our customers. Based on the needs of your organization we will evaluate and recommend anything from open source solutions offered by your existing hosting provider to large enterprise solutions. Our team has experience with dozens of CMS packages working to implement, reverse engineer projects, or in some cases just a quick "facelift".  Some of our customers have no need for a CMS at all, so we're happy to do a site with no CMS at all... we will recommend what makes sense.

We have content management systems that we work with on a consistent basis, but if you need us to interact with the CMS of your choice, we'd be more than happy to.
